Morning

A Streak of light
Challenges the dark night
Moment by moment
It gained in strength
Over the waning darkness
Soon it was dawn
Aha! A new day is born.
Slowly, silently the RED BALL
Rises from the eastern skies
With warmth for all
The cock procliams its arrival with its morning call
To wake one and all
The birds rise from their nests
To explore new horizons
Now it morning
And the humans are awake
Freshened by a goodnight's sleep,
They attend to their morning chores
A new day,
A new beginning.

Twilight

The hours of twilight
Gradually turned into night
The birds have returned their nests
The sun has set on the western skies
Disappeared now are the last rays of light
Out comes the moon round and bright
Soon multitudes of stars cover the skies
Shining like innumerable fireflies
The breeze is cool and the land is bright
Lit by soft moonlight,
Its such a wonderful sight,
Alas! For me, its time to say goodnight

Now

The flower on the way
That I see today
Will be there tomorrow
But will die someday
Life is so brief,
Seed, Flower, fruit and decay.
So enjoy the moment now,
Before it flies away.

Hope

Winter does not remain winter always,
It has to change to summer someday,
The snow has to melt sometime,
The barren trees too will fruit someday.
So wretched man, stop pitying yourself,
And lend a ear to the old saying
God helps those who help themselves
So rise and try something new
God has made us for some purpose
Nothing is insignificant in his great design
So stop your worries and cries
And with a hopeful heart say
" If this road is blocked
I will find another day".
